The Vision

A Westcoast Contemporary home cradled in an Okanagan Orchard.

Design and Innovation

Thoughtful design incorporated large covered patio areas to enjoy the serene setting, while providing ample shade to large glazed openings. Stunning views without unwelcome solar heat gain. Tailored materials and finishes to reflect the local materials and landscape.

This gorgeous custom home features:

Efficiency by Design: Beyond code insulation detailing. Calculated Solar heat gain and shading. Solar PV renewable generation on site
Structural Integrity: Extensive Glue laminated timbers, manufactured locally, for both aesthetics and structure.
Nature-Infused Aesthetics: Douglas Fir timber, doors and millwork, combined with Oak highlights to echo the neighboring vineyards
Resilient Exteriors: The home boasts a low-maintenance exterior, integrating fire-smart materials for added safety.
Customized Interiors: Carefully executed transitions and details to highlight craftwork and themes that reflect the owner and location.
Unique Outdoor Features: 2400 Sqft of covered patio on two levels, a covered breezeway to attached 3 car garage.

Navigating Challenges

Sloped Site development, on site waste water and an active working Farm. A single point of access was created to mitigate damage to the surrounding landscape, materials sequenced to allow for minimal disturbance outside of the construction zone.
